INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP OF PERMANENT MAKE-UP "PERFECT IMAGE"

The Championship brings together masters from different countries of the world in a fair competition and presents them with an excellent opportunity for professional growth, exchange of experience, observation of various techniques of performing the procedure and demonstrating their own skills.

The goal of the Championship is to popularize the correct aspects of the permanent make-up procedure, the fundamental safety factors of this procedure, to promote the improvement of the quality of permanent make-up services, exchange of best practices and demonstration of one's own skills, creating a favorable image of permanent make-up and microblading.

The Championship is open, specialists can participate in it regardless of citizenship and place (country) of permanent residence.

RULES OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP

1. A participant and a model should appear at the Championship a one hour before the right start.

2. At registration, the participant receives a badge and a participant package. When registering, a bracelet with a QR-code for refereeing is put on the models (STRICTLY FORBIDDEN: remove, wet, damage the bracelet with the QR-code, before the results of refereeing are announced !!!)

3. The name tags cannot be put away before the assessment of contest works is over.

4. All the participants must be dressed in medical suit of white color only.

5. Each model should attend the photoshoot before the start of procedure and right after it. The photoshoot takes place in the contest area by a specialist of organizing committee. If a model does not come to the photoshoot, a work of participant cannot be included.

6. A participant must use an anaesthetic, which is allowed in his/her country. Anesthesia can be done with an application method only.

7. Time to put an anesthetic on is included into the time period, which is given to complete the contest work.

8. Before the start of procedure and during the Championship it is forbidden to use decorative cosmetics (except the pencils for drawing).

9. After a “Start” signal the participants and models must stay within the contest area and cannot leave this till a “Stop” signal is heard.

10. A participant must follow all the hygiene rules, which are obligatory for the following procedure: to have the clean cosmetic clothes and hat, mask, gloves, shoe covers or shoes to change; keep the workplace clean; follow the rules of aseptics and antiseptics:

- to have the disposable gloves and change them in time (they must be transparent or light color) and masks;

- to use the disposable aseptic needles and tubes;

- to use a cosmetic pencil with a fresh cut, special marker or processed brush;

- to open a craft package in presence of model;

-to process the skin of model during the procedure and right after it with a special solution;

- to put the machine on a special stand or in a covered with an aseptic napkin tray;

- to use the moistened in the aseptic solution cotton disks, cotton swabs, napkins (before the start of procedure they should be moistened with a special remedy and kept in the aseptic tank, and the used ones should be thrown to the trash can in time.

In the end of contest, a participant has 10 extra minutes to clean a workplace up.

11. One participant can take part only in one nomination.

Those participants, who gave the false details on their work experience will be disqualified.

It is forbidden to use tattoo pigments in the championship, except for the nomination "Bikini line mini tatoo"

PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION AND USE OF PERSONAL ACCOUNT

To register, you must:
1. Submit an application on the site by filling out all the necessary fields, attaching a personal photo and a photo of a diploma (certificate) confirming specialization (category).
* If you have previously been registered on the site - enter your personal account, then apply for participation.
2. Make payment for participation in the selected nomination within 2 weeks after registration of the application.
* A prerequisite is full payment for participation in the Championship.
After payment, each participant receives an e-mail ticket with a QR code. Also, a ticket can be downloaded in your account on the website.

Functions of your personal account:
Each user creates a personal account when applying for participation. If the participant was registered earlier or participated in the Festival championships in the past, he already has a personal account. Login to your personal account by entering the phone number and password (password comes to the phone number specified during registration).

In your account you can:
• change your personal photo and information about yourself;
• add or remove a nomination (until payment);
• make a payment;
• register the model (if applicable);
• download an electronic ticket;
• see an evaluation sheet of your work.

Championship Nominations

JUNIOR. Masters' experience from 3 months to 1 year

The participant must perform permanent eyebrow tattoo using "Shading with ombre effect" technique on a model aged from 22 to 40 years.

If necessary, the participant should be ready to comment on the work for the jury..

Assessment criteria:

eyebrow construction (compliance with proportions, symmetry);
match of the eyebrows color and shape with the color type of the model;
modeling of the eyebrow head;
presence of light-and-dark transitions;
naturalness of shading;
degree of trauma;
complexity of the work (skin condition, presence of scars, moles, papillomas in the pigmentation zone, active muscle facial gesture);
compliance with the rules of asepsis and antiseptics.

General judging shall be carried out upon completion of the competitive task.

MASTER. Masters' experience from 1 to 5 years

The participant must perform:

1. Permanent eyebrows make-up using the "Shading with ombre effect" technique.

2. Permanent lips make-up using the “Watercolor” technique.

The age of the model is 22-40 years.

Assessment criteria:

Eyebrows

eyebrow construction (compliance with proportions, symmetry);
match of the eyebrows color and shape with the color type of the model;
modeling of the eyebrow head;
presence of light-and-dark transitions;
naturalness of shading;
degree of trauma;
complexity of the work (skin condition, presence of scars, moles, papillomas in the pigmentation zone, active muscle facial gesture).

Lips

flat boundary of the contour;
uniformity of color application;
smooth transition of color;
building a form;
matching lip color with the color of the model;
complexity of the work (assessment of the asymmetry of the initial shape of the lips, age category of the model, the presence of skin imperfections in the pigmentation zone);
degree of trauma.

In case of non-compliance with sanitary hygiene standards, penalties are awarded. The judge on sanitary standards is on the competitive field throughout the entire duration of the competitive task.

General judging will be done in the end of contest.

PROFI. Masters' experience from 5 to 10 years

The participant must perform:

1. Permanent eyebrows make-up using the "Shading with ombre effect" technique.

2. Permanent eyelids make-up using “Arrow with shading with color effect” (at least 2 colors).

The age of the model is 22-40 years.

Assessment criteria:

Eyebrows:

eyebrow construction (compliance with proportions, symmetry);
match of the eyebrows color and shape with the color type of the model;
modeling of the eyebrow head;
presence of light-and-dark transitions;
naturalness of shading;
degree of trauma;
complexity of the work (skin condition, presence of scars, moles, papillomas in the pigmentation zone, active muscle facial gesture).

Eyelids:

softness of shading;
the use of complementary colors;
smooth transition of colors;
clarity and elegance of lines;
uniform filling of the intermuscular space;
the correctness of constructing the shape of the arrow according to the eye of the model (respect for proportions, symmetry);
the degree of injury;
the complexity of the work (condition of the skin of the eyelid, age-related changes, the presence of imperfections of the skin in the pigmentation zone (papillomas, scars, moles).

They provide for scoring the fine points by the judge of sanitary norms. The judge is in the contest area during the whole time of contest task.

General judging will be done in the end of contest.

BIKINI LINE MINI TATTOO. OPEN CATEGORY

The participant must perform on the model a bikini line colored mini tattoo on the theme: “Flowers - remains of Paradise on Earth,” with tattoo pigments.

Size of the tattoo should be 6-8 cm based on the prepared sketch.

The sketch must be submitted at registration in printed form.

The participants should also have Suprosorb film (or its equivalent) for covering the works after judging.

Criteria for evaluation:

* clarity of lines (max. 5 points);

* degree of injury (max. 5 points);

* smooth transition of colors (max. 5 points);

* blending (max. 5 points);

* compliance with the sketch (max. 5 points);

* uniqueness of the picture (max. 5 points);

* color scheme (max. 5 points);

* disclosure of the theme (max. 5 points);

* stylistic complexity of the picture (max. 5 points);

In case of non-compliance with sanitary hygiene standards, penalties are awarded. The judge on sanitary standards is on the competitive field throughout the entire duration of the competitive task.

General judging will be done in the end of contest.

DEMANDS TO THE MODELS

1. On a face of model should be no decorative cosmetics and permanent make-up of pigmented area, except models for the Expert category.

2. Each member is obliged to message the model in written before the procedure on the all of possible consequences and aftereffects. The member is responsible for any harm made to the model during the contest work.

3. A participant should give an informed consent of model for the procedure to the organizational committee of the Championship.

4. In case if there are claims, connected to the made by the participant procedure, the last one should do everything possible for to resolve the claims or/and suits.

5. Participants from Ukraine should have their models, foreigners are provided with the ones.

6. The organizational committee does not provide lodging of participants and models during the Championship.

7. The foreign participant is obliged to provide self with an interpreter.

8. All the models should be dressed in white t-shirts and blue jeans.

EQUIPMENT OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP

Organizers provide with:

couch;
cosmetological table;
cosmetological chair;
lamp lens;
electrical outlet;
set for model and master of permanent make-up (pelerine, hats, shoe covers, mask, aseptic gloves, apron);
wrap for model: disposable sheets;
trash can.

MATERIALS FOR WORK

Every participant takes with:

machine for permanent make-up;
pigments in the bottles, marked with symbols, which mean the manufacturer and expiry date (pigment only for a permanent make-up);
disposable tanks for pigments and disposable needles;
hand, face and work surface desinfectant;
aneshtetics and necessary work materials for permanent make-up;
medical gown (set of clothes) or cosmetic;
pencils or brushes for drawing and sharpeners;
looking glass;
tweezers.

DETERMINING THE WINNERS

JUDGING:

The judging will be held electronically on gadgets with instant grading from judges on screens and with the ability to print an evaluation sheet at the end of the judging.

Each work the judges rate by the special scale, by the noted above assessment criteria.
A decision of judges is final.

WINNERS:
Winners of the Championship are those, who scored the highest rating.

By the number of scored points will be the winning I, II and III places taken.

If a situation arises when two or more participants gain the same total number of points and claim one prize, the decisive factor in determining the winner will be the highest amount of points according to the "Difficulty of work" criterion.
A participant with a lower amount of points takes a place lower.

AWARDING:

Winners of prizes will be awarded with gifts, diplomas and cups. Rewarding will take place on the day of the championship after the end of refereeing.
All the participants will receive the Cerificates of participation in the World Championship of Permanent Make-up and Microblading.
