INTERNATIONAL HAIRDRESSING CHAMPIONSHIP

The goal of the Championship is to identify the best specialists of the industry, to popularize the profession of a hairdresser-stylist, to determine promising trends and commercially successful ways to develop the direction, to demonstrate new working techniques, to improve the professional skills of the participants.

The Championship is open and any specialists, regardless of their citizenship and place (country) of residence, can take part in it.

PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION AND USE OF PERSONAL ACCOUNT

To register, you must:
 1. Submit an application on the site by filling out all the necessary fields, attaching a personal photo and a photo of a diploma (certificate) confirming specialization (category).
  * If you have previously been registered on the site - enter your personal account, then apply for participation.
 2. Make payment for participation in the selected nomination within 2 weeks after registration of the application.
  * A prerequisite is full payment for participation in the Championship.
 After payment, each participant receives an e-mail ticket with a QR code.  Also, a ticket can be downloaded in your account on the website.

 Functions of your personal account:
 Each user creates a personal account when applying for participation.  If the participant was registered earlier or participated in the Festival championships in the past, he already has a personal account.  Login to your personal account by entering the phone number and password (password comes to the phone number specified during registration).


 In your account you can:
 • change your personal photo and information about yourself;
 • add or remove a nomination (until payment);
 • make a payment;
 • register the model (if applicable);
 • download an electronic ticket;
 • see an evaluation sheet of your work.

RULES OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP

  • ONE PARTICIPANT MAY PARTICIPATE ONLY IN ONE NOMINATION WITHIN THIS CHAMPIONSHIP!
  • 1. Competitions are held in two categories.  Masters (experience up to 3 years) and Pros (experience from 3 years), as evidenced by a diploma or certificate.  If the participant does not have a document confirming the experience, he will be classified in the highest category of the Profi.
  •  2. The participant must arrive one hour before the start of the Championship for registration.
  •  3. At registration, the participant receives a badge and a package of the participant.  When registering, the model puts on a bracelet with a QR code for refereeing (it is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to remove, wet, damage the bracelet with a QR code before announcing the results of refereeing !!!).
  •  4. The rules of the Championship provide for photographing the models "before" and "after" the completion of the competitive task.  The organizer of the event takes pictures in a specially equipped room.
  •  5. Each participant undertakes to notify the model of all possible consequences in writing before undergoing the procedure.
  •  6. The participant must provide the informed consent of the model for the procedure to the Organizing Committee of the Championship.  The consent form for the participation of the model is provided by the Organizing Committee of the Championship upon registration of the model directly on the day of the Championship.  In the case of claims in connection with the procedures conducted by the participant, the latter must take all necessary measures to resolve the claims and / or claims.
  •  7. The participant is personally liable for any harm caused to the model during the execution of the competitive task.
  •  8. The model is provided only for foreign participants, participants from Ukraine provide themselves with models on their own.
  •  9. The Organizing Committee does not provide accommodation for competitors and models for the duration of the Championship.
  •  10. The foreign participant, if necessary, undertakes to provide himself with a translator on his own.
  •  11. Masters cannot start work before the announcement of the start of the competition.
  •  12. During the execution of the competitive task, masters and models are prohibited from talking loudly, leaving workplaces, eating, using mobile phones and other means of communication.
  •  13. Negotiations, consultations and assistance of models or spectators are unacceptable.
  •  14. After the signal about the end of the competition time, all participants stop working.  Models go to the refereeing zone.  Masters clean the workplace and leave the Championship area.  If the master takes part in the next nomination, he can prepare a workplace.
  •  15. In the event of any problem, participants can only contact technical judges who are on the competition site.
  •  16. Photos of the participants' works can be used by the organizers of the Championship in subsequent publications (post-releases, articles), in order to inform about the Championship as a whole and about its results.
  • 17. Uniform for participants: white pants and white shoes, T-shirts will be issued to participants upon registration at the championship venue.

Championship Nominations

MODERN SALON HAIRSTYLE. MASTER

This competition is meant for the masters with up to 3 years experience.

The nomination consists of two stages. Each of the stages shall be evaluated by the panel of judges separately.

Stage I

Execution time - 30 minutes.

Competition task: To perform fashionable styling on long hair.

Conditions:

1. Hair coloring should be performed in advance.

2. Hair of the model should not be pre-prepared.

3. Use of any tools and styling devices is allowed.

It is forbidden to use:

1. Colored sprays.

2. Jewelry, postiches and hair support elements.

Criteria for evaluation of the Stage I:

  • form (max. 10 points); 
  • performance accuracy (max. 10 points);
  • complexity (max. 10 points);
  • color (max. 10 points).

Judges should be able to see the whole hairstyle, including from above.

The maximum number of points for the Stage I is 40.

Penalty points may be awarded for violation of the Championship rules (max -5 points) for each violation.

 

Stage II

Execution time -30 minutes.

Competition task: To transform the unchanged styling from the Stage I into a fashionable evening hairstyle that will be in harmony with the overall image of the model.

It is allowed:

1. To use any styling tools, including hairpins, rollers and jewelry (no more than 20% of the hair-covering).

2. To use any styling products.

Criteria of evaluation of the Stage II:

  • form (max. 10 points);
  • performance accuracy (max. 10 points);
  • complexity (max. 10 points);
  • color (max. 10 points);
  • image integrity (overall impression) (max. 10 points).

Judges should be able to see the whole hairstyle, including from above.

The maximum number of points for the Stage II is 50.

Penalty points may be awarded for violation of the Championship rules (max -5 points) for each violation.

The total maximum number of points is 90.

 

PRIZE FUND (50% gifts / 50% money):

  • I place – 1000 $

  • II place – 900 $

  • III place – 800 $

DETERMINING THE WINNERS

JUDGING

The judging will be held electronically on gadgets with instant grading from judges on screens and with the ability to print an evaluation sheet at the end of the judging.

Each work the judges rate by the special scale, by the noted above assessment criteria.

A decision of judges is final.

 

WINNERS

Winners of the Championship are those, who scored the highest rating.

By the number of scored points will be the winning I, II and III places taken.

 

 

AWARDING

Winners will get the gifts, diplomas and trophies.

Rewarding will take place on the day of the championship after the end of refereeing.

All the participants will receive the Cerificates of participation in the World Championship of Eyelash Extension.
 

EQUIPMENT OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP

Organizers provide with:

 - mirror;

 - curbstone;

 - power point (2 sockets);

 - negligee.

 All participants work on their own materials, tools and accessories of any brand to complete the competitive task.
