WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OF VISAGE

Aim of the Championship: to uncover a creativity and professional skills of make-up masters within working on a look of any complicacy. To uncover new talents and provide their professional growth.

The Championship is open, so masters can take part in it, regardless their citizenship and residence place (country).

PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION AND USE OF PERSONAL ACCOUNT

To register, you must:
1. Submit an application on the site by filling out all the necessary fields, attaching a personal photo and a photo of a diploma (certificate) confirming specialization (category).
* If you have previously been registered on the site - enter your personal account, then apply for participation.
2. Make payment for participation in the selected nomination within 2 weeks after registration of the application.
* A prerequisite is full payment for participation in the Championship.
After payment, each participant receives an e-mail ticket with a QR code. Also, a ticket can be downloaded in your account on the website.

Functions of your personal account:
Each user creates a personal account when applying for participation. If the participant was registered earlier or participated in the Festival championships in the past, he already has a personal account. Login to your personal account by entering the phone number and password (password comes to the phone number specified during registration).

In your account you can:
• change your personal photo and information about yourself;
• add or remove a nomination (until payment);
• make a payment;
• register the model (if applicable);
• download an electronic ticket;
• see an evaluation sheet of your work.

RULES OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP

ONE PARTICIPANT MAY TAKE PART IN SEVERAL NOMINATIONS, FOR EACH NOMINATION, A SINGLE MODEL SHOULD BE!

1. A participant should appear at the Championship a one hour before the right start.

2. At registration, the participant receives a badge and a participant package. When registering, a bracelet with a QR-code for refereeing is put on the models (STRICTLY FORBIDDEN: remove, wet, damage the bracelet with the QR-code, before the results of refereeing are announced !!!)

3. The name tags cannot be put away before the assessment of contest works is over.

4. After registration models go to the photoshoot area “Before”. When the contest is finished the work is rated by judges, after that models go to the photoshoot area “After”.

5. Participants from Ukraine should have their models, foreigners are provided with the ones.

6. The organizational committee does not provide lodging of participants and models during the Championship.

7. The foreign participant is obliged to provide self with an interpreter.

8. Look should be well-thought. At the moment of contest, a model should have the basic constituents of look (hairstyle, manicure, pedicure).

9. While creating a look it’s important to emphasize on a unity of style and completion of the one (individuality + hairstyle + make-up + outfit + accessories).

10. Participants must show the professionalism, good taste, artistic imagination and perspective vision of the commercial fashion.

11. It is forbidden to use military, religious and cult symbols.

12. It is forbidden for models to help the participants during their work.

13. Participants start and finish their work when the gong is heard, this moment master leaves the contest area.

14. Breaking the rules of the Championship is punished with the fine points by judges from 1 to 3 fine points, if this happens again, a participant will be disqualified.

15. It is forbidden to repeat the works published before, works, which were presented at the contest over 3 times.

16. It is forbidden to use for work the watercolors and any other toxic substances, if a participant breaks the following rule, the one will be disqualified.

17. Masters, who give the fake information about their experience will be disqualified.

18. Final stage of the contest is judging.

19. If a nomination provides for having a demonstration of look, a model must present it with a manner, which suits the look. Final rating of this depends on the judges.

20. Uniform for participants: white pants and white shoes, T-shirts will be issued to participants upon registration at the championship venue.

Championship Nominations

Salon WEDDING MAKE-UP. MASTER

Master’s experience up to 2 years

Contest work:

1. To do a salon make-up for the bride, according to the latest fashion tendencies.

2. To do founding and modeling of face shape, decoration of lips, eyebrows and eyes as well as fix the make-up, considering a maximally harmonic variant for the model’s face.
Degree of preparing a model:
Make-up is done right in the contest area, starting with putting a primer on the model’s face.

It is forbidden:

repetition of their work, which won prizes (1, 2, 3) in other championships (various levels) and copying other people's work;
to depict something in the eyes area;
to use models, who have a permanent make-up or/and extended eyelashes;
to use the watercolors, aqua make-up;
to depict something on the face (forehead, chin, chееks);
to markup beforehand;
to use a stencil;
to have a sketch or photo in the workplace;
to use a mastic;
to stick to the skin some large decorating elements, which cover the eyes.

It is allowed:

to use decoration, which matches the topic of work (rhinestones, sparkles, sequins, feather etc.);
to use a watch on the runway.

Assessment criteria:

technique (complexity, accuracy, composition);
color (harmony, creativity);
image (matching the topic, harmonious, professional choice of model).

Master’s experience up to 2 years

Contest work:

To do a salon make-up «smoky eyes» in color.

Degree of preparing a model: the make-up is done right in the contest area, starting with a face priming.

It is allowed:

to do the makeup, using shading, pencil drawing, cream and watercolor techniques;
to use nacre and metallic powder, mica and glitter;
extraordinary schemes and sequence of putting the cosmetics on;
to do the make-up with a help of brushes, sponges, beauty blenders.

It is forbidden:

Elements of picture, faceart, gluing, except false lashes.
To use models, who have a permanent make-up and extended eyelashes;
Repetition of their work, which won prizes (1, 2, 3) in other championships (various levels) and copying other people's work.

Demands:

for eyes makeup should be used at least 5 colors;
makeup is done right in the contest area, starting with a priming of face;
«color smoky eyes» can be done with matte, metallic or glitter;
to select the best scheme of makeup «smoky eyes», according to the form of face, shape and placement of eyes of model;
it is obligatory to do toning and modeling of face shape, lips’ figuration, eyebrows and lashes as well as fixation of makeup, according to the maximally harmonious variant for the model’s face;
schemes, techniques, color and texture decisions, as well as cosmetics for making a complete look are up to each contestant;
eyelashes are not the obligatory condition for this nomination;
makeup should maximally improve the appearance, refresh the face, correct disadvantages and complete a look of model;
makeup should be appropriate for the criteria and level of salon work.

Assessment criteria:

common impression of look (choice of model; harmony of makeup, hairstyle and outfit; completeness of look);
accuracy, technique, complexity of makeup performing;
depth, accuracy and creativity of color mixing and matching, transitions and shading.

Salon HAUTE COUTURE SMOKY EYES. PROFI

Master’s experience from 2 years

Contest work:

To do a salon make-up «smoky eyes» as an integral part of look, which embodies a haute couture.
As a source of inspiration for creation of look in the following nomination you can use the familiar examples from fashion shows and advertising campaigns of world known haute couture houses.

Degree of preparing a model: make-up is done in the contest area, starting with priming of face.

It is allowed:

toning and modeling a face shape with an aerograph by choice;
painting the model’s hair with aerograph;
extraordinary schemes and sequence of putting the cosmetics on;
doing the makeup with a help of brushes, sponges, beauty blenders and other tools;
bleaching beforehand/coloring of eyebrows;
using of nacre and metallic powder, mica, glitter, rhinestones, sequins, sparkles, lashes or decorating elements in the form of eyelashes.

It is forbidden:

to use an aerograph for eyes’ makeup;
to use the stencils, when working with aerograph;
to make a picture on the forehead, cheeks, chin;
to do the make-up of eyes 10 mm higher than real eyebrow of model. Picture can take not more than 20% of face.
to use some fantasy schemes for eyes’ makeup;
to glue to skin some large decorating elements, which cover face features and makeup.
to use models, who have a permanent make-up or/and extended eyelashes;
repetition of their work, which won prizes (1, 2, 3) in other championships (various levels) and copying other people's work.

Demands:

to do a makeup, using at least two techniques from the list: shading, pencil drawing, cream, watercolor, gel technique;
the makeup should unify the basics of «smoky eyes», tendencies and trends for fashion make-up, as well as the creative view of participant of nomination, when creating the haute couture make-up;
it is obligatory to do toning and modeling of face shape, lips, eyebrows and lashes’ figuration as well as fixation of makeup, according to the idea of haute couture look;
schemes, techniques, color and texture decisions, as well as cosmetics for making a complete look are up to each contestant;
hairstyle, accessories and outfit must complete the look and match the makeup.

Assessment criteria:

common impression of look (model: harmony of makeup, hairstyle and outfit; clarity and completeness of look; accordance to the topic of nomination);
accuracy, technique, complexity of makeup performing;
accuracy, contrast, saturation and creativity of colors mixing, transitions and shading;
uniqueness and new ideas for makeup;
toning and modeling (matching to the fashion trends, color mixing, skin effects);
the right choice of model, matching the look, presentation of look.

MAKE-UP CHALLENGE. Secret mission

The competition is open to master makeup artists and stylists of any experience.

Makeup Challenge – debut nomination-challenge, designed to identify the most ambitious, strong, and talented artists. This team nomination requires the creation of a full creative image on the model of the man using the sponsor-provided set of materials in a limited time. Nomination does not involve preparation. In work welcome a truly original and creative solutions with an unconventional combination of elements. Contestants are not limited in the choice of techniques and methods when creating the makeup look. The main goal of the contestants was to create a truly unique, committed and stylish way available to "read."

The contest task: create an image on the model of the man of the consumables and accessories. Filling to create the image and the model is determined by the drawing of lots immediately before the start of the nomination. All necessary cosmetics and tools to create hairstyles masters bring.

The degree of preparation of the model:

- models dressed in boxers, Nude and bathrobes;
- makeup is done directly on the contest site, starting with the application base on the model's face, makeup artist and stylist in parallel creates a hairstyle and is complemented by the corresponding image elements of clothing.

Allowed:

- perform make-up in any technology;
- addition of the image at its discretion, style and taste.

It is prohibited to:

- the use of toxic and potentially dangerous materials.

Requirements:

- diagrams, techniques, color and texture solutions, as well as cosmetics are used individually for the selection of each member to create a holistic and complete image.
- false eyelashes are optional this category.

Assessment criteria:

idea (max. 10 points);
general impression of the image (max. 10 points);
execution technique (max. 10 points).

DEMANDS TO THE MODELS

1. Models, are allowed at the age of 16 – 30 years.

2. Model should have an aesthetic appearance, healthy facial skin, without any visible defects and dermatological diseases.

3. Models with the extended eyelashes and eyebrows, permanent make-up and microblading of lips, eyelids and eyebrows, as well as tattoo are not allowed.

4. A model should be ready and dressed beforehand, according to the theme of work within the nomination.

5. Male models are not allowed.

EQUIPMENT OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP

Organizers provide with:

- make-up table;

- make-up chair;

- trash can;

- negligee.

All the participants work with their own materials, instruments and accessories of any brand to complete the contest work.

Championship judges

DETERMINING THE WINNERS

JUDGING

The judging will be held electronically on gadgets with instant grading from judges on screens and with the ability to print an evaluation sheet at the end of the judging.

For each work, judges award points on a special scale, according to the above evaluation criteria.

The decision of the judges is final.

WINNERS

The winners of the Championship will be the participants who have scored the maximum number of points.

By the number of points scored, the winners will be awarded I, II and III places.

Separately, will be selected the owner of the Grand Prix. The winner of the Grand Prix will be the participant who took part in more than one nomination and won more than one prize.

AWARD

Participants who won prizes will be awarded with gifts, diplomas and cups at the official part of the Festival.

All participants will receive certificates of participants of the World Championship in visage.
